Teaching is one of the noblest profession for it makes other profession possible. The SEA Teacher Project or the Pre-Service Training prepares the Education students for the real-life applications of the theories discussed inside the classroom. Through this activity, the future educators are able to see the realities of teaching, how teaching touches lives and how it transforms them as a professional.

After observing and assisting my Ibu Yunita in her classes, it's time to put the spotlight on me - Actual Teaching to Ibu Yunita's class. Nervous? Yes. But I composed myself.

In my demonstration teaching, Ibu Yunita allowed me to use the format of Philippines' lesson plan. Hence, it became easier for me to teach my lesson because I am fully aware on the sequence of activities.

I started my lesson with a game. I asked them to find their partner and they will answer my questions together. The first three winners received a key chain from the Philippines as a prize. After I got their attention, I proceeded to the lesson proper in which I discussed Scalar Multiplication on Vectors.

I executed all the activities written on my lesson plan which indicates a good time and class management. Also, some students were noisy which made me somehow distracted. But what I learned is that, as a teacher, you must be able to create the irritating noise a healthy noise where students can generate and share ideas.

In overall, teaching in other country might be seen as a hard task, but the moment you see you students learning from you, all the hardwork is already paid off. When you see your students enjoying your activities, you'll forget your lack of sleep just to prepare it. That makes's teaching worthwhile.
